To administer its sanctions, both in terms of the threats they are intended to control as well as the  measures that must be implemented, the Security Council and its facilitation mechanism on Iran and North Korea sanctions committee collaborate with a number of technical agencies and international organizations each implement specific international law and regulations. The following table illustrates how sanctions measures and related policies link up to UN organizations, international institutions, conventions and legal instruments:
